AICPA海外考场注册5月1日开通

Exam Registration opens May 1

DOWNERS GROVE,Ill–April 18,2011–Becker Professional Education,a global leader in professional education and a part of DeVry Inc.(NYSE:DV),today announced that it is well-positioned through long-standing relationships with its international partners to serve candidates who will take advantage of the international administration of the U.S.Uniform CPA Exam as recently announced by The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA),National Association of State Boards of Accountancy(NASBA)and Prometric.

Beginning in August,the U.S.CPA exam will be offered in Japan,Bahrain,Kuwait,Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates,marking the first time it will be administered outside a U.S.jurisdiction.For more than 15 years,Becker has been helping international candidates prepare for the CPA Exam in their country of residence through partnership with a strong network of organizations like Morgan International and TAC.

Through Becker’s long-standing relationships with international partners,its industry-leading CPA exam review course is available to students in more than 30 countries around the world and in all the regions where the exam will be administered.CPA candidates in the MiddleEast,India,and Canada receive Becker‘s CPA Exam Review in association with Morgan International.In Japan,TAC provides Becker’s CPA Exam Review and is the leading provider of test preparation solutions for professionals across Japan.

The exam will be offered in English and will be the same as the current U.S.CPA Exam offered in the United States.Registration will begin on May 1,2011,and applications may be made through certain U.S.state boards and accountancy offering eligibility for international candidates.A list of participating state boards and other information will be posted on the NASBA website in April at www.nasba.org.

Testing in the new international locations will be open to citizens and long-term residents of the countries in which the exam is being administered.In the Middle East,citizens and long-term residents of Egypt,Jordan,Oman,Qatar and Saudi Arabia may take the exam in one of the Middle East locations.U.S.citizens living abroad are eligible to test at any location.For more information,please visit www.becker.com or the AICPA’s international examwebsite at www.aicpa.org/cpa-exam.
