Explain 'Revocation of an offer'
An offer is a definite statement of willingness bound under specific terms without future negotiations. To make an offer, the willingness must be clearly demonstrated and so as the specific terms. The party that raises the offer is the offeror, and the party to whom the offer is raised is the offeree.
An offer can be closed by three means, which are revocation, rejection and laper. A revocation can be made by the offeror any time before the offer has been accepted. Rejection is the means that(可以直接改为Rejection is that...) the offeree directly rejects the offer or makes a counter-offer, by trying to change the term of the original offer. Lapse means that(必须添加一个that) the offer was not accepted before the expiration date.
To revoke an offer, communication must be made to the offeree. Communication of revocation can be made either directly with the offeree or via liable third parties.
However, if the offeree has paid the offeror to keep the offer open, then the offer cannot be revoked by the offeror. And if the offer ultimately becomes a unilateral contract, the offeror cannot revoke the offer once the offeree has started to perform actions required in the offer.
老师的评语:
写Revocation of an offer的比重还是不太够,第一二段的内容可以适当的融合为一段,然在用三段的内容来写Revocation of an offer比较合适。
