Ø Benefits Map (收益流程图)
A benefit map is a visual tool that can be used to assist in benefit management. It documents the way in which the benefits of the project relate to the project outcome and to the strategic objectives of the organisation. The map can then be used throughout the project to see the effects of changes in any of the project outcomes.
Typical steps in preparing a benefit map are:
1) Agree the objectives of the project and how these link to strategic objectives. This may involve discussion with stakeholders.
2) Identify the benefits of a project. Each benefit should then be linked to an objective of the project.
3) Identify business changes that are needed to achieve the benefits of the project. Typically, business changes are new ways of doing something.
4) Identify the project outputs (or enablers) that will bring about the business changes. This could typically be a new IT system.
All of the items identified above are drawn on a chart (the benefit map) with lines showing links between them. A simple benefits map is shown:
流程分为四步,第一步是确认项目收益的至终目标,这个需要跟利益相关者进行讨论并达成一致;第二步,确认项目收益,每部分收益都应与项目目标相对应;第三步,确认关于达到预期项目收益过程当中的变动;第四步,确认至终的项目成果。
